In 2006, KHLT inherited Dale Bondurant’s beautiful property on the Kenai River. Dale worked closely with the Land Trust in 1996 to place a permanent conservation easement on the land to protect its important salmon habitat and recreational values forever. Dale donated his beloved property to KHLT with the understanding that it could be sold to benefit the organization while KHLT carries out the protective terms of the easement. This almost 7-acre parcel, which includes an island, is located across the Kenai River from Bing’s Landing near Soldotna.
Many thanks to Dale for leaving KHLT this amazing legacy gift.
This property will be listed in February 2019.
In 2018, Ralph Van Dusseldorp and Marilyn Johnson donated their beautiful property and home on Beaver Creek in Kenai to KHLT. The property is classified as non-conservation land (we call Tradeland) due to its small size and the surrounding neighborhood development. Ralph and Marilyn gifted KHLT the property to sell with the goal of generating funds to protect valuable habitat on the Kenai Peninsula, which they so dearly love.
Thank you, Ralph and Marilyn!
This property will be listed in April 2019.
