Donations & Memberships
To ensure that the Kenai Peninsula’s beauty and wildlife continue long into the future, make an online donation or send in a check to: Kachemak Heritage Land Trust 315 Klondike Ave Homer, Alaska 99603 By giving $1 or more, you are considered a "member" of KHLT for the year. We typically send out two rounds or "member renewal reminder" mailings—one in the fall and one in the spring. Recurring Giving Choose to give on a recurring plan throughout the year. Predictable funds through monthly gifts are wonderful for non-profits as they save paper, postage, staff time and help us predict the amount of funds coming in to our organization. If you choose this option, your credit card will be billed and you can cancel anytime. Year-End Giving KHLT’s Year-End Campaign offers the opportunity to make a year-end matching gift supporting our important conservation work. Gifts to the appeal are matched dollar-for-dollar by our U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Coastal Program grant. Honorarium and Memorial Gifts
Giving a tax-deductible gift is a great way celebrate a special occasion, or to remember a friend or loved one. Your contribution to the land trust might become an annual tradition made in their honor, or a lasting tribute to celebrate the life they lived. Workplace Giving Many businesses offer matching gift programs to employees. If you would like to participate in a Workplace Giving program to increase your gift to KHLT, please check with your employer. Sponsorships
A business sponsorship of an event or program offers a great opportunity for businesses to showcase support for land conservation on the Kenai. Sponsors are recognized in advertising, in our annual magazine Landmarks, publicly at events, on this website and in social media. To become a sponsor, call (907) 235-5263 or email carson@kachemaklandtrust.org. |
Heritage Circle With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, you become an essential partner in conserving the natural heritage of the Kenai Peninsula for future generations. Heritage Circle memberships include invitations to special celebrations, exclusive field trips, and first notice for events and KHLT happenings. |
Our early contributions to KHLT have increased, thanks to gifts of stock, a truly winning way to donate to a favorite organization.

Each generation has its own rendezvous with the land, for despite our fee titles and claims of ownership, we are all brief tenants on this planet. By choice, or by default, we will carve out a land legacy for our heirs.
~ STEWART UDALL
Be of service. Whether you make yourself available to a friend or co-worker, or you make time every month to do volunteer work, there is nothing that harvests more of a feeling of empowerment than being of service to someone in need.
